Frank specializes in corporate and commercial litigation, concentrating in insurance recovery, partnership disputes, products liability, and lawsuits affecting financial institutions and other business organizations.
Frank also has extensive experience in the areas of mass tort liability, products liability, professional liability, premises liability, unfair competition litigation, and has been very active in real estate matters for individuals, partnerships, and other business entities. He also has represented banks and other commercial lenders in a variety of litigation and other matters.
Frank regularly advises small and closely-held business entities on a variety of organizational issues and business disputes.
He has successfully tried numerous cases in State and Federal Courts in New York and New Jersey, has arbitrated numerous matters before the AAA, and regularly participates in a variety of alternative dispute resolution procedures. Frank has successfully argued appeals in both the state appellate courts and Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
He is a 1985 graduate of Fordham University School of Law where he was Editor of The Fordham Urban Law Journal and a member of the Moot Court Board. He was a frequent guest lecturer at Columbia University Law School on the subject of insurance recovery. He is a member of the Bar of the States of New York and New Jersey, is a past member of The Association of the Bar of the City of New York's Committee on Products Liability, and a past panelist and contributing editor at Fordham Law School's Forum on Continuing Education for Mass Tort Liability. He has served as a Deputy Assistant District Attorney in New York County and is a past member of the Middletown Township Open Spaces Preservation Committee. Frank has also appeared in The Committee on Product Liability's Presentation of The Mediation of a Product Liability Case, which was filmed for Court TV.
Prior to his formation of Lynn Occhipinti, Frank was for 25 years a founding and managing member of Stewart Occhipinti and a member of Anderson Kill &Olick, specializing in commercial litigation and insurance recovery.
